Week 8

My review on Bit by Bit Development's video on Quantum Computing: I thought you guys did a great job on covering the topic and included a lot of pertinent info. I do find the presentation to be clear and the research looked to be decent.  The video production could definitely use some more images, videos, transitions, effect, etc. I didn't find the video to be as engaging since I there are not mich visuals.  Everyone in your group looks to have contributed so that is good to see. My review on Business Geeks Proud's video on Healthcare Robotics: I thought the topic was covered fairly well and had a lot of good info on the subject. The research looked good from my end. You had some effects in the beginning but not much throughout once you went to covering your subject.  The video production being increased would help with better engagement.  Overall, good job. My review on Initech's video on Cybersecurity/Cyberwarfare: I thought the topic was covered well and...

Week 7

During Week 7 our team collaborated on our Video Project which we are doing on Brain-Computer Interfaces.  We are using Google Slides to collaborate and get a similar look and feel.  We will each be doing a 3rd of the project and bringing everything together to make a whole video.  The process has been somewhat smooth and I believe it will be a slight challenge to make everything look and feel as one.          I watched a Ted Talk on Machine Learning and making sure we solve the issue of the super intelligence valuing what humans value before it comes into existence.  That way it doesn't do things that we would not want based on our values.  I find it an interesting subject and believe it would be a good idea to do what the speaker suggested, although I'm not sure it could be solved without knowing all the variables before we get to that point.          We also learned abou...

Week 6

My team and I discussed capstone ideas and the ones that stuck out to me were Front End Web Projects.  The project in my mind that sounded best was to make a resource management tool that had responsive web pages and had a clean and simple design. This week we worked on completing a rough draft of our Ethics Argument Paper.  We also came up with ideas for our video project and Brain-Computer-Interfaces was our chosen topic.  Then we made a cover and resume for our dream job after we graduate.  We had a team meeting with our instructors and discussed the last two weeks of this class plus getting ready to start the Software Development class right away.  We also had to do peer reviews of our teammate's ethical argument papers. -Divine

Week 5

My goals were somewhat similar in completing my degree program however, I was a little more specific in stating that I wanted to get all A’s to finish my degree.  I was also similar in that I said that I wanted to become a software developer but I also made some more specific future goals of becoming a lead developer at some point in my career.           I really like the capstone project on the PetRecs Web Application as I like web development and I could see myself really enjoying creating a Web Application.  A Web Application I could see my team building would be a new Resource Management Program.  I work at a High School District and we use a mix of many programs that do different things but also similar things.  They do not connect or interact with each other and I would love to make an application that addresses this issue.             Another project I...
